Optomap Retinal Exam
Optomap Retinal Exam is a fast, easy and comfortable, an in depth view of the retinal layers (where disease can start). Your doctor is concerned about retinal problems including macular degeneration, glaucoma, retinal holes or detachments, and systemic diseases such as diabetes, stroke, and high blood pressure. With having this annual eye wellness scan gives a permanent record for your medical file, which gives your doctor comparisons for tracking and diagnosing potential eye disease.
RTVue-100 OPTOVUE
RTVue-100 OPTOVUE is an ultra-high speed, high resolution OCT retina scanner used for retina imaging and analysis. The ultra-high speed and high resolution features enable the FD-OCT to visualize the retinal tissue with ultra-high clarity in a fraction of seconds. Provides a rapid, objective and accurate evaluation of the eye because it measures the site of glaucoma damage, not just a symptom of the disease.

Visual Field Threshold
FDT is a breakthrough in visual field testing that's so efficient it can even be used in pre-test. An abundance of evidence now indicates that FDT perimeter has many advantages for detecting visual field loss. FDT perimeter is relatively portable, is quick and easy to administer and interpret, is robust to moderate amounts of refractive error, and is widely liked by both clinicians and their patients. Preferential Hyperacuity Perimeter : to detect CNV earlier and monitor patients better than common methods. The PHP is a perimetry machine similar to that used in visual field examination for detecting glaucoma. Both diagnostic tools measure the peripheral visual field, are automated, have a normative database for comparison and provide a report. The PHP also measures the central visual field in addition to the periphery. The PHP is based on the human
ability to perceive minute differences in the relative spatial localization of two objects. Because the brain is sensitized to the detection of small shifts in the co-linear arrangement of photoreceptors and slight distortions of photoreceptors in relation to each other, minute differences in the placement of objects in space in relation to one another are readily noticed. This hypersensitivity is subsequently used to detect the presence of drusen or CNV, as these different lesions cause different elevations in the RPE.
