Frequently Asked Questions

Is it safe to sleep in contact lenses?

In general, sleeping in contact lenses is not the healthiest wearing schedule. Only a few specific brands are currently FDA approved for sleeping in. Sleeping in lenses not FDA approved for this mode of wear can cause short and long-term damage to the cornea and even increase the risk of eye infection. If you have questions whether your current contact lenses can be slept in, contact your eye care physician.
