Frequently Asked Questions

I was in a car accident and I'm fine, but my airbag deployed and now I'm seeing flashes of light, is this bad?

Flashes of light, especially associated with an increase in floating spots in your vision called floaters, may be an indication of a serious condition called a retinal detachment. If you are seeing flashes of light in your vision that have not been there in the past, it is highly recommended to see an eye care professional to evaluate the back of your eye, or retina.
