Frequently Asked Questions

My prescription keeps getting stronger, will I eventually go blind?

An increase in prescription does not necessarily mean a person is going blind. Small fluctuations in vision between eye exams are very common and are a potential product of many different factors. If you notice large changes in vision over relatively short periods of time, it is important to keep good contact with your eye doctor. As long as the vision is correctable with glasses or contact lenses, it is possible to control the vision change, even if the change is large.
